The annual Polar Plunge returned to Carlyle Lake on Saturday. There were 30 teams that plunged in the 37-degree lake to help benefit Special Olympics.
The Polar Plunge is an annual event hosted by the Special Olympics, GEICO, and the Law Enforcement TORCHRUN in cooperation with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
The event raised $96,000 for Special Olympics.
