Raymond E. Spealman, age 79, of Trenton, passed away Monday, December 15, 2025, at HSHS St. Joseph’s Hospital in Highland. He was born November 14, 1946, in Lebanon.
Raymond is survived by his loving wife, Linda Spealman (nee Williams) whom he married September 30, 1972 at First Baptist Church in Trenton and she survives in Trenton; children, Krista Spealman of Trenton and Keith Spealman of Trenton; sister, Maxine Santel of Trenton; brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, Tom Williams of Mesa, AZ and Lisa (Curt) Newlan of La Harpe, IL; nieces and nephews; and grandpups, Jaeger and Rambo.
Ramond was preceded in death by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Charlie and Evelyn (nee Mounce) Williams and brother-in-law, Fred Santel.
Raymond proudly served his country as a veteran of the United States Army from 1965 to 1967. He was a lifelong, self-employed farmer and also worked for Ranz Dairy Farm and Trenton Processing. Known for his humor and warm personality, Raymond enjoyed collecting owls, deeply loved his dogs and pets, and found joy in watching humorous “failure” videos on YouTube. He especially treasured taking truck rides to Sikeston, Missouri, with Krista.
There will be no services at this time.
Memorials in honor of Raymond may be made to the wishes of the family (checks payable to Linda Spealman) and will be received by mail at Moss Funeral Home, 535 N. 5th St., Breese, IL 62230, who is serving the family.
