Izaiah R. Frederick, age 24, of Beckemeyer, passed away Tuesday, June 16, 2026. He was born June 3, 2002, in Maryville, a son of Tammi (nee Parent) (Tim) Aarns of Beckemeyer and Tony Frederick of Breese.
In addition to his parents, Izaiah is survived by his sisters, Ami (Eric) Doll of New Baden and Alixandra (friend, Sean Alberternst) Rakers of Shiloh; his beloved niece, Antonia Watts; nephew, Eathin Doll; great-nephew, Greyson Walston; uncles and aunts, Tim Parent of Beckemeyer, Tina (Rick) Korte of Summerfield, Maxine Frederick of Youngstown, OH, and Anita Frederick of Charleston, WV; cousins, Courtney Rickhoff, Madalyn Rickhoff, Melinda Raimo, and Ashley Raimo; and numerous second cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lionel “Lenny” and Aggie (nee Stroot) Parent and John and Maxine (nee Graves) Frederick; and by his uncle, Tony Parent.
Izaiah found joy in life’s simple pleasures and the people who meant the most to him. He enjoyed playing video games, spending warm summer days swimming, shooting hoops on the basketball court, and riding dirt bikes whenever he had the chance. He especially treasured the companionship of his faithful dog, Kash, who was never far from his side. More than anything, Izaiah valued the moments spent with those he loved. Whether sharing laughter with family, making memories with friends, or simply being present with the people closest to him, those moments brought him genuine happiness.
Though his time here was far too short, the love Izaiah gave and the memories he created will remain in the hearts of those who knew him. He will be remembered for the smiles he shared, the bonds he formed, and the lasting impact he made on his family and friends.
Visitation will be held Thursday, June 18, 2026, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Moss Funeral Home in Breese.
In lieu of flowers, plants, or other gifts, memorials may be made to The MOG Project (Myelin Oligodendrocyte Glycoprotein) and will be received at the visitation or by mail at Moss Funeral Home, 535 N. 5th Street, Breese, IL 62230, who is serving the family.
