Gwendolyn M. Feldt, age 84, of Trenton, passed away peacefully Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at her home. She was born November 29, 1940, in Highland, a daughter of the late LeRoy and Mabel (nee Ranz) Ruth. Gwen married Bernard O. Feldt on June 1, 1963, at Mennonite Church in Summerfield and he preceded her in death on March 17, 2019.

In addition to her parents and husband, Gwen was preceded in death by her step-granddaughter, Alicia Williams; sister, Janelle (Alvin) Schmitt; parents-in-law, Addison and Viola (nee Lindner) Feldt; and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Elton Leppke, Dennis (Pam) Feldt, Forrest (Jenny) Feldt, and Shirley (Robert) Gruender.

Gwen is survived by her children, Laura Feldt of Jeffersonville, IN, Brian (Lori) Feldt of Hoyleton, and Andrea Feldt of Trenton; grandchildren, Brianna Chatman, Maddy (Nikki DeBardlebon) Feldt, Mike Feldt, Melia Feldt, and Sophie Feldt; step-grandson, Max Williams; great-grandchildren, Carlee, Cheyenne, and Skylar Chatman, Cadyn Vize, and Kyla Feldt; sisters, Dolores Leppke of Carrington, ND and Gail Ruth of Breese; and nieces and nephews.

A dedicated and hardworking woman, Gwen retired from Tempo Bank after many years of service as an Internal Auditor. Her commitment to her faith was unwavering—she was a long-standing and active member of Grace Community Baptist Church in Trenton, where she served faithfully for over 33 years as the financial secretary and actively participated in numerous church and community groups.

Gwen lived a simple and meaningful life, full of joy and love. She found happiness in the little things: a round of golf, a road trip where she could “drive”, or time spent surrounded by her growing family. Whether cheering from the sidelines or simply enjoying a quiet moment together, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren brought her endless pride and joy.

Memorial Service will be Saturday, August 16, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Grace Community Baptist Church in Trenton with Pastor Bob Marsh officiating. Interment will follow Trenton Cemetery.

Visitation will be Friday, August 15, 2025, from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. and again Saturday, August 16, 2025, from 8:30 – 9:45 a.m. at Moss Funeral Home in Trenton.

In lieu of flowers, plants, and other gifts, memorials may be made to Murray Parents Association, Grace Community Baptist Church, or Hope for Tomorrow (Guatemala) and will be received at the visitation or by mail, Moss Funeral Home, 105 S. Main St. Trenton, IL 62293, who is serving the family.
