This weekend is setting up for dangerously cold temperatures and wind chills well below freezing. This is too cold for outdoor pets for a prolonged period of time. Short coat breeds are more succeptable to hypothermia and freezing than a long coated breed. Please, make sure to bring your pets inside if you can. If you can’t, make sure they have adequate shelter with the door facing to the south. Put plenty of straw in there for them and make sure they have a sufficient supply of fresh water and feed them a quality food.
