Carly Denise Schwierjohn, Nineteen months, went to be with Jesus on Thursday, July 23, 2026, at St. Louis Children’s Hospital after a sudden illness. Carly was born on December 20, 2024, in Breese, IL to Brian and Shelby Schwierjohn of Pocahontas, IL.
Carly completed the Schwierjohn family and was their ‘CarCar’. Carly had a love of food in particularly Oreos, McDonald French Fries, Goldfish, and M&M’s which earned her the nickname ‘Chubs’ by her daddy. Cars spent her days trying to keep up with her big brother and sister. She loved being outside on the farm with her mom, dad, and siblings. She loved her dog, Maggie, the cows, and family jeep and golf cart rides. She was mainly a Mommy or Daddy’s girl until Granny came around and then no one else mattered. Carly Denise had the bluest eyes—not just blue—they had a sparkle to them. It was as if you could see straight into heaven. Not only could she brighten the room, she was the light, simply too perfect for this world. Above all she loved her family fiercely, she was truly her mommy’s ‘mini me’. She was adored by all who ever knew her but especially by her older brother, Clay and sister, Clara. Although her time on earth was far too short, her impact was unmeasurable.
Carly Denise Schwierjohn is survived by her mommy and daddy, her big brother, Clay Henry, and her big sister, Clara James, and her puppy, Maggie. She was the precious granddaughter of Duane and Carol ‘Granny’ Glover of Albion, IL and Dennis and Eileen Schwierjohn of Pocahontas, IL. Great Granddaughter of Barb and Gary Bunting and Dorys Glover all of Albion, IL and Andrew Huelsmann of Aviston, IL. Aunts and Uncles: Jamie and Logan Loudermilk of Albion, IL, Kim and Keith Ratermann of Breese, IL and Kayla and Stephen Linenfelser of Highland, IL. Her cousins include Leni Ray and Baby Loudermilk on the way, Carter and Alivia Ratermann, and Hannah, Grant and Blake Linenfelser.
She was preceded in death by her great grandparents Willard Glover, Henry and Loretta Schwierjohn and Dorothy Huelsmann and an infant cousin Rhett Linenfelser.
