Today brings National Animal Control Officer week to a close. We’re often the ones in the back doing the work that no one can do or wants to do. We have a great staff that truly cares for all of the animals we encounter. I’m also torn with posting this because it shares the week with National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week. They are the true heroes on the front side of every call and the calm voice in the storm. So, if you’re an ACO or a telecommunicator, this is your week and we hope you enjoyed it. Understand that your work doesn’t go unnoticed and is an integral cog in the wheel of public safety.
