Well, at 7:00 pm tonight, the search for Monti ended. We caught him in one of our traps. We had two traps set since Thursday, moved them a few times and finally put it in the right spot with help of the public spotting him and reporting to his owners. Dogs that run like this are very difficult at times due to them not establishing a defined pattern. This is why we ask people to report locations and not try to approach or attempt to catch him. Often times that will push them farther away. Thankfully, this one ended well. We had Doc Brown check him out and he is in good health with a possible foreign body in one of his paws. He is safe at home again with his owners.
