In addition to his mother, Terry is survived by his children, Ryan (Stacey) Kampwerth of St. Rose, Brett (Jordan) Kampwerth of Dallas, TX, Lindsey Lappe of Highland, Adam (Kelli) Kampwerth of Charlotte, NC, and Avoynna Kampwerth of Highland; grandchildren, Alexis (friend, Jack Shelton), Charlotte, Maeve, and Andrew Kampwerth, Brooks and Palmer Kampwerth, and Coraleigh Kampwerth, and was anticipating the birth of his eighth grandchild; siblings, Jeanne (John) Leatherwood of Houston, TX, Ron Kampwerth of Salem, OK, Carolyn McDonald of O’Fallon, Steve (Michelle) Kampwerth of Birmingham, AL, and Jeff (Amy) Kampwerth of St. Rose; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Terry spent his life rooted in hard work and dedication to his community. He farmed and operated Kampwerth Cattle Co. and later retired from Basler Electric Company, where he worked as a machinist. His faith and service to the St. Rose Catholic Church were a cornerstone of his life. He served as a Lector, Usher, and Funeral Server and was an active member of the St. Rose Men’s Sodality. He was also a proud member of the Breese Knights of Columbus Council 2869, Greenville Heritage Museum, St. Rose Development Club, Clinton County Farm Bureau, and IUE-CWA Local 84840.

Terry found joy in simple pleasures, such as playing cards with friends at R-Bar sharing Sunday Benediction, but his greatest joy came from spending time with his beloved family, especially his grandchildren.
