I hate to say I told you so, but I told you so from the beginning of Biden and his administration’s term. Last week FBI Director Christopher Wray warned about the increased number of threats against the United States, particularly from individuals acting alone and inspired by Hamas, as well as small or large-scale attacks in our homeland. Yet Biden and his current administration keep the southern border wide open, allowing thousands a day to cross over, including the cartels, terrorists and criminals. It’s unbelievable to me that anyone can support this administration at any level.
In the meantime, Biden continues to feed the terrorists. The people of Palestine put Hamas in charge of their government, and Joe Biden’s State Department just approved a substantial aid package worth millions to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestinians, just days after the U.S. intelligence community warned of growing concerns about escalating rocket attacks by Hamas. Secretary of State Antony Blinken signed off on the aid package despite objections from Republican officials who argued that UNRWA had been co-opted by Hamas to facilitate terrorism and radicalism.
In the meantime, Obama stayed silent on the Israel War. Why? Because he paved the way for it through Iran. But that’s another column.
Moving on, I do believe the overwhelming majority of Americans think, as I do, the U.S. is trending downhill. A whopping 78% of U.S. adults say that, according to a poll that was taken in the days after former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy was voted out by his own party, the Republicans. So trust, the majority of the Democratic Party isn’t the same, but I could and will say the same about some Republicans, especially the eight that stood with the Democrats to oust the Speaker. According to this poll, only a mere 21% felt the U.S. was on the right track, according to Associated Press – NORC Research Center. Overall, Biden was pegged with a 38% net job approval rating and a 61% net disapproval rating.
In the meantime, Hillary Clinton is screaming for backlash against the extremists in the House GOP, while the Democratic Squad is skating on thin ice, bordering on treason, in my opinion. They are Rep. Ilhan Omar of Minnesota, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York, Rashida Tlaib of Michigan, and Ayama Pressley of Massachusetts. And in comes Cori Bush who fits in well with the above four.
Ironically, the squad voted every time for funding war in Ukraine but are now calling for peace in Gaza. But make no mistake, they are pro-Hamas and against Israel. Three of them posed in front of the Palestinian flag with the words Hamas Caucus at the top: AOC, Cori Bush and Ilhan Omar.
But on a positive note last week, Arkansas Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders announced October 17 that her state would be the first state to force another country to sell agricultural land in the northeastern part of the state. A Chinese-owned company will be required to sell its farmland in a move that bans foreign parties from owning agricultural land in the state. The Chinese company is owned by ChemChina and is listed by the U.S. Department of Defense as one of many (posing a threat to Arkansas) Chinese military companies that operate directly or indirectly in this country.
In all, Arkansas banned nine enemy countries from owning land in their state. In my opinion, we simply cannot trust those who pledge allegiance to a hostile foreign power. This is only a common sense measure.
Leaving you this week with these thoughts: Biden addressed the country last Thursday evening. I ask you to consider how far we’ve fallen in the last three years. Look at the Abraham Accords, the bilateral agreements on Arab-Israeli normalization signed between Israel and the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain on September 15, 2020 to strengthen peace in the Middle East under Trump, and it worked. When Trump was President, it stood. Don’t mess with America. Under his leadership, America was safer.
Until next week, stay safe.
