President-elect Donald Trump has been keeping a close eye on which major companies are putting their money into his inauguration fund—and some of them are feeling the pressure. As Trump threatens hefty tariffs on foreign goods, corporate giants are realizing that their contributions to his big day could determine their future profits.

According to sources close to Trump, he’s been asking his allies who’s donating and who’s holding back. One source even shared that when Trump found out a big company hadn’t chipped in, he said, “Well, they better do it soon then.”

It seems like many top companies have taken the hint and are stepping up their donations to avoid becoming targets of Trump’s potential wrath. Big names like Amazon, AT&T, Bank of America, and Ford have all contributed hefty sums. And it’s not just companies—high-profile individuals like Sam Altman, the CEO of OpenAI, and leaders from Meta and Uber have also thrown in big dollars.

Here are just a few of the companies making major donations:

  • Amazon: $1 million
  • AT&T: $1 million
  • Ford: $1 million
  • Toyota: $1 million
  • Meta (Facebook’s parent company): $1 million
  • Uber: $1 million (plus another million from its CEO)
  • And many more!

In short, it’s a big-money game—and for many companies, donating seems like a smart move to stay in Trump’s good graces.
