On May 8, 2024, U.S. Air Force Col. K. Michael Shirley II assumed command as the incoming Commander of the 375th Mission Support Group. He received the guideon from Col. John Poole, the 375th Air Mobility Wing Commander, during a Change of Command ceremony held at Scott Air Force Base in Illinois.
