ST. LOUIS – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) is pleased to announce an open house to provide updates on the Formerly Utilized Sites Remedial Action Program (FUSRAP) activities in St. Louis. The meeting will be held on Wednesday, June 12, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Florissant Municipal Courts Building, at 4575 Washington St, Florissant, MO 63033.
Community members are invited to an informative evening featuring project update presentations and a panel of experts ready to answer questions about the FUSRAP projects in the St. Louis area. This session is a great opportunity for residents to learn more about the ongoing efforts to address environmental concerns related to radiological cleanup in the area.
The meeting will not only provide information but also foster direct engagement. Information tables will be set up, offering a unique opportunity for attendees to interact with USACE staff and other experts. This interactive session is specifically designed to help the public understand the intricacies of the FUSRAP and the progress being made.
Those who wish to submit questions or comments in advance can do so by sending them to stlfusrap@usace.army.mil. Comment cards will also be available at the meeting for submission to the panel. The live-stream will begin at 5:45 p.m. and will stay open until the meeting has concluded.
