Scholarships for Jefferson County seniors

Community First Bank of the Heartland is proud to announce the launch of its annual scholarship program, offering financial support to deserving students graduating from Jefferson County high schools in 2024.

This scholarship aims to recognize students for their academic achievement, leadership qualities, and community involvement. In addition, applicants must be graduating from a Jefferson County high school in 2024 with a GPA of at least a 3.25 on a 4.0 scale.

“As part of our commitment to education and community development, Community First Bank is pleased to provide this opportunity for local students to pursue their higher education goals. We have a longstanding tradition of supporting education initiatives within the community, and the scholarship program is a testament to our dedication to fostering the growth and success of the next generation,” stated Community First Bank CEO Gary Bryant.

Applications are available at all Jefferson County High School Guidance Offices or by visiting the Community First Bank of the Heartland website at www.cfbh.bank. Applications will be accepted until March 29, 2024. Applications may be submitted online, dropped off at any CFB location or mailed to Community First Bank, Attn: Scholarship Committee, 117 N 10th St., Mt. Vernon, IL 62864.
