How un-American can you get? Joe Biden and his handlers are now diverting funds for veterans through the VA by using what’s reserved for veterans for illegal immigrants instead. Whether or not you voted for Biden isn’t the point. In my opinion, anyone who could agree with this action needs to re-examine what we as a nation owe those that paid so much for our freedom.

Could this be all about the votes in the 2024 elections?

Frankly, I only see this one way, and that, ladies and gentlemen, is diverting funds from veterans is a huge betrayal to our nation’s most honorable. It’s more important to meet the needs of our veterans than aiding illegal immigrants in any area.

While Veterans Affairs can’t figure out how to get our homeless veterans off the streets, they are quick to provide for illegals.

Yet more and more illegal aliens are pouring across our borders under the failed policies of the Biden Administration, including numbers of gang members, terrorists, and foreign agents (including a potential invasion of Chinese Communists).

It’s unbelievable just how many American resources are being sucked up in taking care of these people, from housing to health care, not to mention the strain on cities and states. It’s also draining government resources, and overloading our school systems and our healthcare system, among other issues. Not to mention illegals commit hundreds of thousands of crimes that should have never happened. I question if some states even keep track because they don’t want the truth to leak out about how dangerous illegal migrant crime is for American citizens.

Then there’s Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker. Many of his new laws that went into effect on Jan. 1, 2024 are doing nothing but putting legal Illinois citizens at higher risk. He made sure Illinois was the first in the nation to allow some non-U.S. citizens to become police officers and sheriffs’ deputies. This legislation was signed into law on July 28, 2023 but took effect on Jan. 1, 2024.

True, applicants must meet certain criteria. They must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and they must be allowed under federal law to obtain, carry and possess a gun.

However, people living in the U.S. illegally may not — I repeat may not — legally obtain firearms. In 2012 a federal appeal ruled on the above, and both experts and lawmakers say that makes them ineligible for law enforcement positions.

State Rep. John Cabello, a Republican co-sponsor of the law and Rockford police officer, said, “Anyone who is saying that an illegal alien can become a police officer or a sheriff’s deputy is either one, misinformed, or two, giving you a baldfaced lie.”

So, in fact, the Illinois Bill only allows certain non-citizens to become police officers, but in my opinion, this is totally unacceptable.

I believe Pritzker is right up there with Biden and Gavin Newsom. And that’s not meant to be a compliment. Far from it!

Until next week.
