Saturday April 4, 3 South Central Alumni members received their American Degrees. It is a huge honor to receive this award and is the highest degree that an FFA member can receive. The American degree is awarded to less than 1% of the National FFA Organization. To obtain this degree one must have received their State FFA Degree, complete three years of secondary instruction in an agricultural education program, one year of enrollment in a postsecondary agriculture program, earned at least $10,000 and productively invested $7,500 through the Supervised Agriculture Experience, have an scholastic record of a C or better, 50 hours of community service, and have a record of outstanding leadership. We are very proud of Alec Langley, Dennis Wollin, and Victoria Iler for this big accomplishment.
