The 96th Annual Centralia Halloween Parade took place Saturday night, October 28.
The Timmons Family float “Magical Mischief and Muggles” won the Harley Queen Trophy.
Flatlanders General Store won the Grand Marshal’s trophy this year with their “Santa Claus Is Coming to Town” float.
Girl Scouts of Centralia’s “Addams Family Mayhem” float took first in the civic division, while second place was taken by ABATE of
Illinois Freedom Riders with “Mobile Monsters.”
Alternative Learning Academy took first in the school division with “Monsters, Mischief & Who I Am,” and Sandoval FFA took second with their “Nightmare on the Farm” float.
“Haunted Mansion” by the Davis family took first in the Family Division. The Smith, Harting, Resch, and Stover families took second with “Mario Mischief Makers.”
Fun in the Sun Travel took first in the Commercial Division with “Monsters on Vacation,” and second place went to Smitty’s Burger Barn with “Monsters.”
William Harvey Dance Academy took first in the marching competition with “Black Is,” while Malaysia’s World took second with “Monsters Inc. & Monsters University.”
“Monsters — Mischief” by Calumet Street Christian Church took first in the Church Division.
The Children’s Parade was held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, The Fall Festival began early on Saturday morning and continued into the afternoon.
