George “June” Hiltibidal Jr., pictured at right, celebrated his 100th birthday last Friday. He was born at home on October 20, 1923, in rural Marion County. At the age of 19 he enlisted in the United States Army and fought in Italy during World War II. He celebrated his birthday with his family and friends.
