At the September meeting, Happy Hearts Quilt Guild announced that 40 quilts will be presented to Hoyleton Children’s Home in Hoyleton, Illinois. This makes a total of 120 hand made quilts that have been presented to several organizations. Guild members representing all members who have helped with this project are: Marty Skorczewski, Nancy Luschen, Arletta Bundy, Lyn Hester, Kim Larkin, Kim Gossett, Trish Accomando, Jeanette Davis, Julia Clark and Rebecca Van Hout. A display of several other finished quilts to be donated were display at the Happy Heart Quilt Guild Show on Saturday, October 21 at the Salem Community Center, Salem, Illinois.
