The City of Centralia Veterans Affairs Committee is pleased to announce the upcoming Veteran Resource Fair that will be held at the Centralia American Legion on Saturday, October 28 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Enjoy refreshments and receive valuable information about the many Veteran programs and assistance available.
In addition to providing a space for military community members to connect with Veteran service organizations, an Illinois Department of Veterans Affairs representative will offer opening remarks as a guest speaker at 9 a.m. Following this, attendees can visit several informational vendor booths until 11 a.m. This exclusive free event will bring together government agencies, nonprofits, education, and businesses that cater to Veterans and their families. The Marion County Health Department will also be on hand to offer blood pressure screenings and flu shots. Whether you are a Veteran, a family member of a Veteran or caregiver there will be a wealth of information provided at this event.
