September 23 marked the kick off for Girl Scouts of Southern Illinois’ Fall Product Program. Girl Scouts will be selling tasty treats and magazine subscriptions through October 22.

“The annual Fall Product Program is a great way for troops to raise start-up funds as they start their new Girl Scout year,” said Katie Grayling, Director of Product Programs. “The girls also learn valuable life skills while participating in the program. Plus, customers can enjoy the products themselves or gift them to others for the holidays,” Grayling added.

Girls who participate in the Fall Product Program learn five life skills — goal setting, decision making, money management, people skills and business ethics — while raising money for their Girl Scout adventures. Girl Scouts today dream big and want to make the world a better place. When you make a purchase from a Girl Scout, you are being a champion for girl ambition and helping her own her magic.

Customers will be able to select from usual favorites — like Whole Cashews or the yearly commemorative tin filled with Mint Treasures. There are also some options that are exclusively online, like Almond Cran-Orange Crunch or Mint Treasures in 2020 and 2022 tins (if you need to fill in your collection). There are also some new products offered online — Tervis Tumblers and a Girl Scout Barkbox

The Fall Product Program runs through October 22. To find a participating Girl Scout in your area, visit gsofsi.org/fall.
