The Marion County Genealogical Society will have its September meeting at 6:00 on Monday evening, September 25, in the Society’s room at the Bryan-Bennett Library, located at 315 S. Maple St. in Salem.
Diana Brimberry and Carolyn Green, president of the Madison Street Historical Preservation Project, will present information on the history of Kinmundy, including the historical preservation work. The public is invited. Looking ahead to October’s program, Myron Lloyd will explain funeral practices, past and present.
