Violinist Polly Launay will present a musical program in the Schweinfurth Museum at the Jefferson County Historical Village on September 23 at 2 p.m. Polly began taking violin lessons at the age of eight. She studied both Classical and Bluegrass music and earned her Bachelor’s degree at Greenville College. Polly is a well-known violinist in our region and performs as a solo artist and in many groups, including the Paducah Symphony. This musical program will feature Jazz and Bluegrass.
“Passion and unbelievable talent are words that describe Polly Launay’s programs. She always adds something new which makes it even more amazing,” said Dana Uhls, JCHS Community Relations Specialist.
