The Marion County Genealogical Society will meet at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, July 24 in the society’s room at Bryan-Bennett Library, which is located at 315 S. Maple in Salem. Mark Decker and Debbie Smith will provide information about the Marion County Bicentennial Celebration. The public is invited to all programs. Looking ahead to the August 28 meeting, Wilson’s Monuments in Odin will give information on how to properly care for tombstones.
