The Southern Illinois Urban fishing program is teaming up with the Illinois Department of Natural Resources to provide free fishing clinics for kids, parents, seniors and other interested groups.
Participants don’t need to bring anything. All fishing rods, reels, bait and equipment is provided.
There will be two clinics held each day (9:00-11:30 a.m. and 1:00-3:30 p.m.) Monday through Friday, beginning July 12 and concluding August 4. The clinics will be held at Foundation Park in Centralia.
