The Bluford Christian Women Connections Club prepared Mother’s Day baskets for patients at Countryside Nursing Home in Mt. Vernon. Thirty baskets were filled with needed items for bathing and other personal needs and presented to all the mothers at the nursing home. The Bluford CWC is a group of women working together to serve other people in their area. Anyone interested in helping serve the elderly in Bluford may call 618-214-0223 or contact any member of the group. They meet the second Thursday of each month at 6:30 p.m.
