Authorities in Columbus, Ohio, have launched a homicide investigation after discovering the bodies of three women inside a home on the city’s south side. The grim discovery happened on Saturday afternoon when police responded to a 911 call about what was initially described as a medical emergency.

When officers arrived just before 4 p.m., they found the three women already dead. Columbus police spokesperson Sgt. James Fuqua confirmed the deaths are being treated as homicides, though specific details about what happened remain unclear.

“This is a very complex scene because of the number of victims,” Fuqua explained to reporters on Saturday. “We want to be extremely thorough and careful as we examine every part of the scene to ensure no critical evidence is missed.”

Investigators have been busy interviewing witnesses and searching for any video footage that might shed light on the case. As of Saturday, no suspects had been taken into custody.

The Columbus police department has yet to provide any updates since the initial announcement.

This is a developing story, and authorities are working diligently to uncover what led to this tragic event. Our thoughts are with the victims’ families as the investigation continues.
