The Christ Our Rock softball team moved to 6-1 on the season with an 11-1, five-inning victory over Webber. The Silver Stallions have won five straight games.
Webber scored a run in the top of the first inning to take a 1-0 lead. Christ Our Rock scored four runs in the bottom of the first inning, two runs in the bottom of the second inning, three runs in the bottom of the third inning and two runs in the bottom of the fourth inning.
Kylie Nalewajka reached base three times and had two hits, including a double, with three runs scored. Kylie Eversgerd reached base four times and had three hits, including a double, with two runs scored and two RBIs. Chloe Carter reached base three times and had a hit and three runs scored. Bryana French had a double, three RBIs and two runs scored. Alayna French reached base twice and had two RBIs. Kylie Leffler reached base three times and had a run and an RBI.
Kylie Eversgerd pitched two innings, allowing one run on two hits with four strikeouts. Kylie Nalewajka pitched two innings, allowing no runs on one hit with two strikeouts. Bryanna French had three strikeouts in one inning pitched.
Christ Our Rock plays two games on Saturday. Christ Our Rock hosts Wayne City at 10 a.m. and plays at Grayville at 3 p.m.
