The Carlyle St. Mary’s fifth-grade boys basketball team finished its season by going 1-2 at the All Saints Academy Hot Hoops Tournament.
St. Mary’s beat Knights White. The Crusaders lost to Aviston and Jr. Kahoks Purple.
St. Mary’s ended the tournament on Sunday with a 35-23 loss to Jr. Kahoks Purple. St. Mary’s had a 22-21 lead in the second half after a Wyatt Gebke basket. The Jr. Kahoks outscored the Crusaders 14-1 the rest of the game.
Drew Selle led the Crusaders with 10 points. Wyatt Gebke had six points. Hunter Johnson had four points. Jared Crompton had two points. Branton Overturf had one point.
